Farlow’s on the Water’s winning fusion of Caribbean and Southern cooking has kept it at No. 1 for some time now on Yelp and Tripadvisor’s ranking of the best restaurants in Englewood.

In recent months we have been thrilled to visit the best waterfront restaurants for outdoor dining around Sarasota, Anna Maria Island, VeniceCortez and Bradenton. Now, we conclude our popular series of Ticket cover stories by spotlighting the southernmost part of our coverage area, Englewood. And we feature the Gulf-front community straddling both sides of the Sarasota-Charlotte county line just in time for the sixth annual “Let’s Eat! – Englewood.” The dining deals promotion, which starts today and runs through Oct. 1,  includes a three-course prix fixe dinner menu for $26 and a two-course prix fixe lunch menu for $13

To create this list, we looked at the waterfront restaurants in Englewood that are participating in “Let’s Eat!,” and then consulted with each one about menu recommendations available year round. And while on the phone with the restaurants last week, we were told by all seven that employees are required to wear face masks while following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.

Restaurants are presented in alphabetical order.
