Naples City Council unanimously approved the restaurant and bar’s plan at its June 1 meeting, bringing the establishment closer to fruition at the Coastland Center mall.
The sports-themed chain follows a Rocky Mountain lodge aesthetic, with menu items such as loaded fries, quesadillas, wings and burgers. The serving staff comprises young women in short tops and shorter shorts — not altogether unlike what customers might find at Hooter’s.

The effort to bring the restaurant to Naples dates back to 2013, when Warm Restaurants announced plans to open locations in Naples, Fort Myers, Sarasota and Brandenton.
Though that didn’t happen, Jafrejo Holdings, a partner of Warm that owns the Davie-based subsidiary, DMD Florida Restaurant Group, announced plans to build multiple locations in 2015.
In 2018, DMD eyed a parcel next to Dick’s Sporting Goods on Naples Boulevard, which also did not materialize.
In October, the planned 10,000-square-foot Coastland Center location hit a snag with the Naples Design Review Board. Problems with the plan, submitted by project architect Carlos Gonzalez, included its timber elements and dark colors, and its similarity to Twin Peaks’ Alico Road location in Lee County.
“The building represents corporate architecture, which is discouraged per the Design Review Handbook,” city planner Margaret Perry wrote in a report.
The revised plans before the council last week show a toned-down version of the Rocky Mountain aesthetic with significantly reduced timber elements, which is planned for 2078 Ninth Street N.
