Woman’s Club is April bag beneficiary

Winn-Dixie of Marco Island has selected the Marco Island Woman’s Club Charitable Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization, as the April beneficiary of their Community Bag Program.

These reusable durable shopping bags can be purchased for $2.99 at the 625 N. Collier Blvd. store. During the month of April, for each bag sold, Winn-Dixie will donate $1 to the MIWC Charitable Foundation.

Funds raised will be used by the foundation to support the MIWC Scholarship Program and other good works in the community.

To date, the Marco Island Woman’s Club, through their Charitable Foundation, has awarded over $700,000 in scholarships to over two hundred students living on Marco Island and has improved our community through significant donations to schools and various civic and health organizations.
