The result of the work was gallons of homemade vegetable chicken soup that will be distributed free along with a dessert, and bread to anyone who needs some “Soup for the soul” in our community.

MCC Volunteers recently stood shoulder to shoulder alongside with  AL’s Pal’s volunteers at the Wesley United Methodist Church kitchen and began chopping onions and carrots, dicing celery, mincing garlic, and fresh herbs to make a lot of vegetable chicken soup. The “Soup Team” worked well together as a direct result of  “Allyson’s” boundless energy who led everyone in meeting their goal.

The result was gallons of soup that will be distributed free along with a dessert, and bread to anyone who needs some “Soup for the soul” in our community.

It was a lot of fun and a job well done!
