Oprah, Martha, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban will visit Naples this week: What to know

The celebrity stars have aligned for a week, with four of the biggest names in the entertainment industry visiting Naples in the same week.

Can our sleepy seaside Southwest Florida town handle this?

Of course, because Naples has hosted many famous people through the years and they've popped up at restaurants taking selfies and posted them on social media.

Oprah Winfrey is scheduled to talk at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday during the Nov. 18-20 Global Financial Leadership Conference at The Ritz-Carlton beach resort, the last speaker at the annual gathering of investors from throughout the world.

And later Tuesday night, a Hollywood and music power couple will address attendees in a private dinner titled, "From Hollywood to Honkytonk: An Evening with Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban."

The gathering is expected to draw as many as 350 of the Chicago-based CME Group's top clients from around the world. The cost to attend is $2,995.

To close out the week, Saturday, Nov. 23, Martha Stewart will serve as celebrity chef at the Paradise Coast Wine and Food Festival from 1 to 4 p.m. at Cambier Park in downtown Naples. Southwest Florida chefs also will prepare food and attendees enjoy that as well as wine and other drinks at the event.

There's a chance Oprah, Martha, Keith and Nicole will make their way to one of many renowned restaurants in town. If you're able to take a selfie with them, email your photos to features@naplesnews.com and we will post on our social media.

Famous people for decades have flocked to Florida. Earlier this year, they showed up across the Sunshine State: Tom Cruise in Pensacola and Robert De Niro and George Clooney on the east coast, among others.

And it's not the first time the country star Urban and the Academy Award-winner Kidman have visited Naples. Seven years ago, they were spotted at the Hollywood 20 theater in North Naples (now called Regal Naples 4DX & IMAX.

The couple was watching a "Spider-Man" movie over July Fourth.
