COVID-19 in Collier County: What you need to know Wednesday, July 22

The Florida Department of Health reported 173 new cases of COVID-19 and five additional deaths in Collier County on Wednesday.

The total COVID-19 related deaths increased to 114 with a total of 8,249 confirmed cases.

A total of 555 people in Collier County have been hospitalized for COVID-19 as of Wednesday, but that number does not reflect the people currently in the hospital, according to the Florida Department of Health. 

The Florida Department of Health is not reporting how many people have recovered from COVID-19.
