Authorities have provided a sketch of a suspect in a Whiskey Creek stabbing.

Authorities have released a sketch of a suspect who stabbed and robbed a man in south Fort Myers last week.

The incident occurred on Aug. 12 at the Whiskey Creek community. The victim was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, the incident occurred just after 11 a.m. at the apartment building's elevator. The suspect stabbed the victim twice and then robbed him. He fled on foot.

According to authorities, the suspect has light brown-colored hair, possibly dyed. He spoke with a heavy Northeastern accent and has a muscular build. He was in his mid-to-late 20s, between 5'8" and 5'10".
