Golden Gate man arrested, facing child pornography charges

Deputies arrested a Golden Gate man Friday after detectives found images and videos of child pornography on his cell phones, according to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.  

Jean Dalberiste, 46, was charged with three counts of possession of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography with intent to promote, according to the sheriff’s office.  

The sheriff’s office launched an investigation after receiving two cybertips from the National Center For Missing and Exploited Children regarding the exploitation and transmission of child pornography.  

The investigation determined that the activity was occurring at Dalberiste’s residence, according to detectives.

Detectives executed a search warrant at Dalberiste’s home and during an interview with detectives Dalberiste confessed to the activity reported in the cybertips, according to the sheriff’s office.  

Three cell phones belonging to Dalberiste were recovered during the search, according to investigators.  

Detectives performed a forensic analysis of the cell phones and found multiple files containing child pornography, according to the sheriff’s office.  

Around 7:30 a.m. Friday, deputies located Dalberiste at his workplace and took him into custody, according to the sheriff’s office.
