Collier County Sheriff's Office investigates accidental death at Sun-N-Fun Lagoon in North Naples

Collier County Sheriff's Office is investigating a death at Sun-N-Fun Lagoon off Livingston Road in North Naples on Tuesday.

CCSO responded to the call at 11:45 a.m.

The worker who died was a private contractor and was tearing down a bridge at the waterpark, according to CCSO Public Information Officer Ryan Sheets.

The death was accidental, he said, noting they notified Occupational Safety and Health Administration for an investigation.

The identity of the worker was not released.
