HS Roundup: CSN, Golden Gate notch weekend wins; Neumann suffers loss

CSN 54, Port Charlotte 34: Lovenson Xavier had 23 points, 11 rebounds, and four assists in the win for the Seahawks, who are back in the win column. Ryker Vance added 16 points, eight rebounds, eight blocks, and five assists.

“The team responded very well today after our first loss," CSN coach Greg Donahue said. "Defense was locked in and seniors led the way to a good win over a great defensive team."

CSN (12-1) will take on Marco Island on Tuesday. Port Charlotte (5-2) will host Mariner on Thursday.

Golden Gate 72, St. John Neumann 61

Four Titans found double figures as Deon Pacouloute had 18 points, Jeffrey Simpson 13 added 11, and Jaheem Cine and Aileek Ward scored ten points apiece.

Jack Reinert and Josh Costain led the way for the Celtics in the loss, scoring 26 and 19 points, respectively.

Golden Gate will square off against Riverdale on Tuesday, while Neumann will host First Baptist.
